Ours vs. Theirs | Rapid Slicer: A Cut Above

There are plenty of tips on how to reduce your cooking prep time. But the most sure-fire way to cut down your prep time is to find a product that literally cuts it down, like Rapid Slicer.

Meet Rapid Slicer: The ingenious, fast-prep kitchen tool

Cooking can be an unwinding experience that sometimes dips into the tedious territory. Rapid Slicer removes the frustratingly repetitious tasks from the process and makes it a lot safer. Non-slip feet hold it in place and just a little pressure on the lid, which protects your hand, is enough to keep food still, too.

Rapid Slicer helps corral the foods with minds of their own like grapes, cherry tomatoes, and olives. And can even help safely prepare the main course of chicken breasts or shrimp. When you’re done, just toss it in the dishwasher.

Does Rapid Slicer really cut prep time?

It does. Rapid Slicer lives up to its name, quickly carving through the most time-consuming steps of the cooking process. For instance, let’s say you buy a package of grape tomatoes. They frequently are sold in pints which hold about 20 or so tomatoes.

You could slice all of the tomatoes one by one. Or, you could load up Rapid Slicer, which has a capacity of about 2 cups, or one pint. Instead of 20 cuts, you’ve made one. If you’re making a salad comprised of a handful of chopped veggies, you can imagine what a time-saver that can be.

It seemed like a completely frivolous purchase and another thing for the overflowing kitchen gadget drawer. But I LOVE this thing! I use it all the time. Works on tomatoes, grapes… thinking about trying it on Brussels Sprouts. Love it!

There’s nothing tricky about this elegant kitchen gadget: just place the cherry tomatoes, grapes or other small/thin foods inside and cut with a sharp knife! It’s easy and saves a bunch of chopping time. Totally worth it if you chop a lot of small, round things!

Yes It Does Work

I admit I was skeptical, but it works. We use it foe cherry tomatoes, grapes, olives, boiled eggs, and even bagels.
